The 6-DS is a frame constructed of strut and MIRO’s patented bases to support single or multiple tiers of duct, pipe, cable trays, and more. Duct rests on a 1-5/8″ x 13/16″ length of channel strut, which is adjustable up and down using the channel nuts in the corner brackets. The 6-DS is available in an open configuration or can be made to enclose the duct on the bottom and the top. All 6-DS supports are job-specific, so their size can be made to fit any duct size that your project requires. For pricing, please fill out a quote template and submit it to your local Sales Representative. You will need the following information:
- Dimensions of duct
- Clearance height above the roof
- Total footage of duct
- Insulation size (if any)
- Does the duct need to be enclosed?

Polycarbonate is standard. Stainless steel is also available.
The deck base is 9" x 15.25"
Max Pipe Clearance
Minimum clearance height of 12", maximum height depends on project requirements. Typical 6-DS supports do not exceed 36" above roof. For higher clearance see 8-DS
Max Load Weight
Maximum loading from any MIRO base to the finished roof surface is not to exceed 3.0 psi unless specifically allowed otherwise in project specifications. Deflection in the horizontal header bar is not to exceed the span length divided by 360 or 1/8"
Manufacturer’s recommended spacing is not to exceed 8 foot centers depending upon the load.
