Work At MIRO
Reports to: Custom Manager – John Post
As a Builder in MIRO’s Custom department, you are part of a team that assembles and builds custom roof supports with metal struts and bracketing.
This job is 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., in our Heber City warehouse. Help will be needed only for our busy season throughout the summer.
Prior experience is not necessary; however, you do need to know how to read a tape measure, be able to add and subtract fractions, and be comfortable using power tools.
You will receive on-the-job training on reading blueprints and how to pack and ship jobs. You are expected to learn various aspects of job building and product application. This position requires physical stamina because you are on your feet all day, often lifting 50 – 60 lbs. or more.
MIRO strives to be a safe place for employees to learn and grow. We are looking for people who are team focused, solution-oriented, and continually looking for ways to improve processes.
If you are interested in applying for the position, send a resume to [email protected], using “Builder” in the subject line.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: HR Director – JoyLynn Jeppson
MIRO Industries and Rooftop Anchor, two sister companies in Heber City, UT, are seeking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant to work in our HR Department. If you enjoy helping people one-on-one and finding solutions to problems, this could be the position for you.
As the HR Administrative Assistant, you’ll become an expert in the companies’ cloud-based program to track personnel information, record time, and run payroll. You’ll also run and create reports from the system to examine trends, provide answers, and present data for managers and executives.
Helping employees understand their benefits and company policies is another important responsibility. Whether it is explaining our health insurance to a new employee, how to request PTO, or helping an employee make adjustments due to a change in their life, you’ll be there to answer questions, find solutions, and ensure the employee’s needs are otherwise being met.
Prior experience working in HR or payroll is a plus, but not needed; all required training will be provided on the job. You do need to be excited to learn! Good communication skills (both oral and written) are critical since you’ll spend a lot of your time explaining and helping employees. HR is responsible for record keeping, tracking, and regulatory compliance, requiring organizational skills and attention to detail. The more comfortable you are using Microsoft Office products, the better—especially Word and Excel. You will be exposed to personal and sensitive information, so maturity and the ability to keep information confidential is vital.
This is currently a part time position, working in our Heber City office approximately 5 hours a day, Monday – Friday. The timing of the work shift is flexible, as long as it is between 7 am and 5 pm. However, as both companies continue to grow, this position will transition to full time and so the ideal candidate is someone who is interested in growing along with it.
