MIRO Industries is hiring a full-time Custom Builder, in our Heber City, Utah, warehouse. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. You get a set schedule, keeping your nights and weekends free, and holidays off!
Pay starts at $16.50+ hour, depending on experience. As a Builder in MIRO’s Custom department, you are part of a team that assembles and builds custom roof supports with metal struts and bracketing. Prior experience is not necessary. You will receive on-the-job training to read blueprints and to pack and ship jobs according to MIRO’s specifications. You are expected to learn various aspects of job building and product application. MIRO places high priority on safety and lean production and this position is expected to be fully engaged with implementing safe practices and helping the warehouse reach its lean (also called 5S) goals.
From time to time, you may be expected to help in other areas as needed and directed by your supervisor.
As a builder, you are expected to:
- Know how to use a tape measure,
- Be able to add and subtract fractions,
- Be comfortable using power tools.
A builder also needs to:
- Be willing and able to work in teams (usually teams of 2 – 3 people),
- Be willing to take advice and make suggestions for improvement,
- Be flexible,
- Be on feet all day on a concrete floor,
- Lift 50 – 60 lbs. continuously throughout the day,
- Be tolerant of temperature swings (the warehouse is hot in summer and cold in winter),
- Keep work area clean and neat and organized according to 5S principles.

MIRO Industries is hiring a full-time Assembler, in our Heber City, Utah, warehouse. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. There are two different shift possibilities: one is the day shift, approximately 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; the other is the swing shift, working 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. You get a set schedule, keeping your weekends free, and holidays off!
Pay starts at $16.50+ hour, depending on experience. If hired as an Assembler, you will receive training on how to read part schematics and to pack jobs for shipment for multiple assembly products. MIRO places high priority on safety and you are expected to be fully engaged with implementing safe practices and helping the warehouse reach its Lean goals.
From time to time, you may be expected to help in other areas as directed by your manager.
As an assembler, you are expected to:
- Know how to use a tape measure,
- Be comfortable using power tools,
- Have good eye-hand coordination,
- Have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
An assembler also needs to:
- Be able to do repetitive work for long periods of time,
- Be aware of and maintain supply levels for job you are currently working on,
- Be willing to learn, and willing to make suggestions for improvement,
- Be on feet all day on a concrete floor,
- Lift 20 – 30 lbs. several times a day,
- Work to MIRO safety standards,
- Be tolerant of temperature swings (the warehouse is hot in summer and cool in winter),
- Keep work area clean, neat, and organized according to Lean principles.
